Description

Parade - The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Steering Committee, Inc. (Dr. MLK, Jr. Committee) proudly presents the Annual Dr. MLK Jr. Parade of the City of Sanford, which honors Dr. King’s legacy. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. parade scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Goldsboro community begins at Crooms Academy of Information Technology High School, 2200 Historic Goldsboro Boulevard (formerly West 13th Street) Sanford, Florida, at 10:00 a.m.

Festival - The festival attracts a large crowd, estimated at 2,500 – 3,000 people, with various activities: entertainment, food vendors, merchandise vendors, and food trucks. Festival begins at 11:00 AM.

Talent Show - The Talent Show will run from 2:30 PM. to 4:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Heritage Park - 221 N. Palmetto, Sanford, FL 32771 - in front of the Sanford Civic Center.
