2025 Splash Pad Fun in Seminole County!

2025 Seminole County Splash Pads

Splash pads are now open everywhere. Grab the kids, sunscreen, and some towels, and cool off at these local splash pads.


Splash Pad at Trailblazer Park (Lake Mary)

Hours: 10 AM-5 PM

Dates:

Spring Break Dates: 
March 14, 2025, through March 23, 2025

Spring Extended Weekends (Friday - Sunday ONLY): 
March 28, 2025, through May 25, 2025

Summer ALL WEEK (daily): 
May 26, 2025, through August 10, 2025

Fall Extended Weekends (Friday - Sunday ONLY): 
August 15, 2025, through October 12, 2025

Cost: The Splash Pad is welcome to all! There are no fees for the public use of the splash pad; however, all GROUPS (Summer Camps, Daycares, etc) will need to reserve their dates/times in advance. The group fee must be paid in full prior to the rental.

GROUP Fee: $2 per person (anyone who enters the Splash Pad area will be required to pay Daily Fee)

Splash Pad at Reiter Park (Longwood)

The Splash Pad is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is closed on Mondays for Maintenance. The splash pad will officially close for the season on Monday, November 4, 2024, and reopen on March 1, 2025.

Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Tuesday - Sunday). Splash pad is closed Mondays for Maintenance.

Larry A. Dale Aquatic Center (Sanford)

FT. Mellon Park Splash Pad (Sanford)

Hours: Monday - Saturday: 10 AM - 6 PM, Sunday: 12 PM - 6 PM

Season: Weekends - March through October (in March and October, only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Everyday - April through September.

Wharton-Smith Splash Ground at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens (Sanford)

The Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground features streams, sprinklers and sprays creating a cool oasis inside the Central Florida Zoo. With water features including an animal features, raining trees, and a bucket dump, it’s the perfect place for kids of all ages.

The Tropical Splash Ground is included in your regular Zoo admission.

Notice – While the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground is open all year, if the air temperature is under 65 degrees, or there is lightning within 10 miles of the Zoo, the Splash Ground will be closed.

Hours: Open daily until 4:00 PM (weather permitting) *Notice - While the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground is open all year, if the temperate is 60 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, the Splash Ground will be closed for the day.

Center Lake Park Splash Pad (Oviedo)

Hours: Open daily from dawn until dusk. (If the high for the day will not surpass 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, the splash pad will not be turned on.)

Splash Zone at the Aquatic Facility (Oviedo)

The Splash Zone is open seasonally and allows kids to come and play during a two-hour window. Lifeguards are on duty when the Splash Zone and Pool are open.

SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS: (THREE SESSIONS)

12:00pm - 2:00pm (check in begins @ 11:30am)

2:00pm - 4:00pm (check in begins @ 1:30pm)

Big Kahuna Pool at the Aquatic Facility (Oviedo)

The Olympic-sized pool is open year-round, however, it may close temporarily due to maintenance and/or repairs.  Lifeguards are on duty when the Splash Zone and Pool are open.

Hours:

Monday - Friday (Minimum 1 lane for lap swimming)

  • 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. (ideal lap swimming times 7:30am – 10am)
  • 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. (ideal lap swimming times 2p -3p & 7pm -8pm)

Saturdays (Minimum 3 lanes for lap swimming)

  • 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Sundays

  • Noon - 6 p.m.
  • 1:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Torcaso and Trotwood Park Splash Pads (Winter Springs)

Beat the summer heat at the Winter Springs Splash Playgrounds! The Splash Playgrounds are open each year from April through October and are located at Torcaso and Trotwood Parks. Please supervise all children when using the splash playground. Water shoes are encouraged.

Hours: Spring - April 1 - May 30: Daily - 10 AM - 4 PM (Weather Permitted)

Summer - May 30 - September 5: Daily - 10 AM - 7 PM (Weather Permitted)

Fall - September 6 - October 31: Daily - 10 AM - 4 PM (Weather Permitted)

Wirz Park (Casselberry)

Wirz Park remains closed due to construction and will reopen in June 2025. During this construction phase, residents will still have access to the Wirz Park Trail.
